Today I released my first album, Kami Hito E, digitally for the first time. It had only been available on CD when it was released in 2003. I'm quite excited as it was quite an ordeal to bring it back, and I'm happy to discover that some of the songs have really stood the test of time; or, even, are uncannily timely in 2020. Something equally uncanny is that I had been planning this release date for months, only to find that Taylor Swift chose the same date to surprise her fans with her latest album, Folklore. Another uncanny thing is that the site (and album?) artwork that she's chosen are largely grayscale, like this site that I've been designing in secret for a while, and like my first acoustic solo EP; which was released in 2018. I'm not famous enough for her to have stolen my ideas, but it is truly uncannily uncanny.
